How long has the facility been active?
Z8 Apartments has been in operation since 2014. Over the years, all the apartments have been renovated and are maintained with the utmost care.
How many apartments does the facility have?
The facility has 5 apartments of various sizes: Aria, Ferro, Fuoco, Acqua, Terra
What floor are the apartments on?
The apartments are located on the first and fourth floors of a five-storey building. The apartments Terra and Acqua are located on the first floor. The apartments Ferro, Fuoco and Acqua are located on the fourth floor.
Are the apartments self-contained?
Yes, the apartments are all self-contained and equipped with a security door. The apartments that are on the same floor share an access corridor that is also equipped with an additional security door.
Will the maximum number of beds in the apartment be available?
In order to have the maximum number of beds available, it is necessary to enter the maximum number of guests when booking.
What does the number of arranged beds depend on?
The number of beds that will be arranged depends on the number of guests entered during the booking process. Basically, reservations include the use of double beds for two people. In order to use the additional sofa beds, it is necessary to mark additional guests during the booking process and pay the corresponding additional cost.
Is there a garden?
No, there is no garden or outdoor area.
APARTMENTS
Will bed linen and towels be provided in the apartments?
Yes, upon arrival the apartments will be arranged with sheets, blankets and a set of three towels for each guest.
Is there a hairdryer?
Yes, a hairdryer is provided in each bathroom.
Are soap and toiletries provided?
Yes, hand soap and shower shampoo are available in every bathroom.
Is there a coffee machine?
All apartments are equipped with a Moka pot. There is also coffee and sugar. In addition, there is a kettle and some tea and herbal tea bags.
Is there free Wi-Fi?
Yes, a stable free wi-fi connection is available in all apartments.
Is smoking allowed inside the apartments?
No, smoking inside is not permitted. Only the apartments Terra and Aria have an outside balcony where you can smoke.
Is it possible to bring pets?
Yes, it is permitted to bring pets inside the apartments, but it’s always necessary to inform us when booking. Small sized pets are free of charge, medium and large sized pets are subject to an additional charge.
Is there a lift?
Yes, there is a lift. But to get to the lift you need to climb 8 steps.
Are the apartments accessible?
No, the building where the apartment is located is not wheelchair accessible because it has 8 steps before the lift and unfortunately there is no ramp to get on.
What electrical appliances are there?
In each apartment there is a fridge, a cooker, a washing machine and a microwave oven. In some apartments there is also a dishwasher. In the bathroom there is always a hairdryer and an iron.
Are there pots, pans and cutlery?
All apartments are equipped with tableware, pots, plates, glasses, cutlery. There is also salt and pepper, and single-dose packs of oil and vinegar.
How often is cleaning expected?
For stays shorter than a week, cleaning is only expected at the end of the stay. For stays longer than one week, cleaning with linen change is scheduled every 7 days. It is always possible to request additional cleaning with linen change at an extra cost.
Do we have to throw away the rubbish?
There is a separate collection system for rubbish in the area. Inside each apartment there are special bins for each type of waste. If your stay is short you can leave everything inside and we will dispose of it when you leave. If your stay is longer, inside the apartment you will find all the instructions on how to properly dispose of waste in the street bins.
CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT
What is the check-in time?
Check-in is from 3pm to 7.30pm. During this time we will come in person to show you the apartment and answer your questions. Please remember to inform us of your exact arrival time so that we can be prepared to welcome you and not keep you waiting.
How will we get in when we arrive?
When you are in front of the building you will need to call our phone number and in a couple of minutes we will come welcome you to let you into the apartment, give you all the necessary directions and answer any questions you may have. This is why we always ask you to let us know a precise arrival time, so that we can arrange our schedule to be available and not keep you waiting.
Is it possible to arrive before check-in time?
You can arrive before check-in time from 11am onwards. During that time you can store your luggage and take the keys. Then you can come back after 3pm when the apartment will be ready. In any case it is always necessary to communicate your exact arrival time so that we can be prepared to welcome you and not keep you waiting.
Is it possible to arrive before 11am?
No, it is not possible to arrive before 11am.
Is it possible to arrive after check-in time (late check-in)?
Check-in in person is only possible until 7.30pm. After this time, a self check-in box is available, but as there is only one for several apartments, it must be reserved beforehand. In case the self check-in box is already reserved, late check-in in person has a charge of €15 for each hour after 7.30 pm.
What is the check-out time?
Check-out is by 10am.
Is it possible to stay inside the apartment after check-out time?
No, it is not possible to stay inside the apartment after the check-out (10am) to allow the final cleanings to begin.
Is it possible to store luggage after the check-out?
Yes, you can leave your suitcases after check-out time until maximum 6pm, by informing us in advance at what time you would like to pick them up. When you leave in the morning you can leave your bags and keys inside the apartment, we will move them to our storage room in the same building.
